Role Description: The Associate Vice President of Development will report to and work alongside the Vice President of Finance to ensure that the team has funding to deliver quality events and support the enterprises. The AVP of Development will be responsible for finding sponsorship and partnership opportunities, developing promotional/pitching materials, and securing funding. The AVP will also be responsible for working with the VP of Events to find and help secure guest speakers and corporate sponsors/partners for events. 

• Time Commitment:
  • Hours are typically between 10-15 hours per week
  • As with all roles on Enactus Laurier, time commitment is often dependent on the needs of the team 
• Role Requirements:
  • Strong networking and social skills 
  • Ability to maintain strong long-term relationships with corporate partners
  • Strong organization and time-management skills
  • Proactive attitude and approach to working
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Previous corporate relations experience an asset
