Curriculum Development Specialist - Breaking the Cycle
About Breaking the Cycle:
Breaking the Cycle is an enterprise focused on breaking the cycle that exists between addiction and foster care. Our research focused on understanding the connection that exists between addiction, foster care youth, and the criminal justice system. Majority of the people leaving rehab, prison or foster care are provided with very little support (if at all) regarding mental health, employment, housing etc. Breaking the cycle is working to developing a curriculum that will assist these individuals in developing a sustainable lifestyle that will enable them to break the cycle.
Role Description:
The curriculum development specialist will be responsible for working with the research specialist to understand the BTC’s research surrounding individuals who aged out of the foster care system and those affected by substance use disorder. This candidate will help the enterprise develop a detailed curriculum that will help our target market. Furthermore, the curriculum development specialist will help BTC develop an innovative idea.
Expected hours: 4-6/week (meeting bi-weekly with the managers is important)
