Enactus President
Role Description:
The President/Co-Presidents report to and work closely with the Faculty Advisor of Enactus Laurier to help strategize and oversee the team. The President/Co-Presidents are also in constant communication with the Executive Vice Presidents of Enterprises who work directly with the Enterprise Managers. This is critical in order to keep up to date with what is happening with the enterprises and provide support and guidance as needed. The President/Co-Presidents is/are responsible for hiring and working with the full Executive team whose responsibility it is to support the various enterprises in their respective areas. Management of the Executive team involves goal setting, regular and consistent follow-ups to ensure plans are moving forward, and creating a positive environment built on trust.
The President/Co-Presidents are the main connection between Enactus Laurier and Enactus Canada to communicate plans, ensure reporting requirements are met, and collaborate and share ideas with student leaders from other teams. The President/Co-Presidents are also the main liaison with the Students’ Union to advocate for the team and ensure all policies are followed.
Overall, this role involves being on top of the team’s members and activities while taking a holistic view of the club as a whole - the enterprises, the executive team, and the volunteers, as well as the team’s relationship with Enactus Canada and WLUSU. The President/Co-Presidents will need to be able to balance demands and priorities between the enterprises and the executive team in order to provide the support required, while keeping in mind the needs of external stakeholders.
This position demands the ability to juggle numerous priorities and respond in a timely manner to various new and different challenges and opportunities as they arise. It also demands strong people and communication skills to work not only with team members but also with external sponsors and partners. This is an unpredictable role that requires problem solving, quick thinking, and determination, and above all a passion for making a difference in the world.

- Hours will vary during the year: 10-15 hours per week on average
