Est. 2022
In the 2017 Canadian Survey on Disability, only one in three Canadian adults with autism reported being employed, compared to 79% without a disability. Less than half (44.9%) were employed full-time, working instead on a part-time, contract, or temporary basis.
We seek to support adults with autism to gain meaningful fulltime employment, by providing both training in job-related skills for the computer software industry and assistance in securing sustainable employment that leverages their unique strengths. Our vision is to create a world where neurodiversity is no longer a barrier to employment but instead a unique advantage. At Enactus Laurier we are leading positive change to create a more inclusive world, because we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. |
